I appreciate hearing from readers who have enjoyed my books, anthology offerings and columns. If you have connected with one or more of my fictional characters, that makes my day. For those who have asked - yes - I'm hard at work on a new series of books.

My first novel in the Jubilant Soul series is The Someday List. It will be available in bookstores nationwide on Jan. 1 – the perfect time to create a list of dreams you intend to accomplish. That's what the fictional main character, Rachelle Covington, tries to do after a defining moment in her life. However, she soon realizes that she can't dream big until she looks within and determines what feeds her soul.

If you're a member of a book club or reading group, consider hosting a Someday List party and posting details on my blog. Or get together with a small group of your closest women friends or your church's women's ministry and host a party.

While The Someday List is fictional, it gives us an authentic nudge to reflect on our lives and forgive ourselves for our mistakes. Rachelle and other characters guide us to a place of self-acceptance and renewed faith.

So pick up this novel (and my other books if you haven't read them!) and expect to be both entertained and inspired.
