I read both of your novels and I had grown weary of reading the typical Black Romantic books. In the past few years, I have wanted to read books that had some type of substance. As I have attempted to build a stronger relationship with God, I have learned to better appreciate books like "Speak to My Heart". Like Serena, I am also trying to resolve past issues that have hindered me from having a better relationship with my mother. Continue to enlighten us with your work. |

Both of the books were absolutely wonderful. Nothing but the right Thing hit home. Being a woman who is dealing with infertility and having a husband in the ministry, this book truly spoke to me in so many ways. I seemed to have faced so many of the same things that Serena was faced with. I pray for your continued success in the industry. |

Thank you will never be enough, so my prayers are that your gift will continue to touch the hearts and lives of those who need to feel God''s unconditional love the most! Bless you. |

I have just finished reading, "Speak to my heart" and that it did. I have some unresolved issues with my mother. Unlike Serena''s mother, my mother, when comfronted, accepted no responsibility for the distance between us. In fact, she remains loyal to the accused, who ironically, never denied the action. And so now I write. Allowing her immunity and saving me from rejection. With it said, (written) I can let go. But I have a deadline. Not with a publisher, but with time. My mother is 75. |

The characters felt so real and I was a little saddened when I got to the last page. I think your books are so inspirational because you give insight to christian life...it''s not all glamorous and trouble free as some imagine, but life is not in vain because God is in the midst. Words can not express the gratitude and appreciation of your novel, which help reconnect my relationship with God; "Speak to my Heart" is a blessed novel, that personally will help others to yearn for that spiritual relationship with God; It was truly a priviledge to read this novel and I can''t wait until April for the next one; May God continue to give you the wisdom and knowledge to bless us with a blessing of spiritual reading....Vanessa |

Stacy, unfortunately I never heard of you until today. I was on Crosswalk.com and stumbled over "Speak To My Heart" excerpt of chapter one. After reading it, I was hooked. I am indeed purchasing this book and "Nothing But The Right Thing". I was so impressed and hooked might I add, that I came home and had my soon to be 15 year old daughter read it as well. She loves to read and thoroughly enjoyed it as much as I did. She, of course, will get her own copy. Keep glorifying God in all you do |

Stacy, I truly enjoyed your book, it made me look at more seriously how we should appreciate the people that the Lord put in our lives, because we all have a signed and sealed contract to leave this earthly place. But I loved your book and look forward for the new one in April. I''ve been told that I should begin writing but I really don''t know where to begin. May God continue to Bless you in your writing. |

Speak To My Heart proved to be an amazing read! My soul was heavy through parts of the story, because it caused me to face some things I was running from. Thank you for such a fulfilling, poignant MINISTRY to the souls of GOd''s people. I hope that your life and the lives of your family are richly blessed. |

Well, i found my book. My mother had it and the book was excellent. Like most of your readers it was as if you were speaking to my heart. My mother and I aren''t that close, but after reading Speak to my Heart and I trying to gt to some tyoe of closure were we are now. Thank You and I can not wait until Apr, but as they say all good things come to those who wait. |

I loved this book. I kept reading it until 3 a.m. last night to finish it. I was a little disappointed in the ending until I realized there was a sequel. It truly spoke to my heart especially when I wouldn''t listen to other people, especially God. Like Serena, I have been withdrawn from God and this gave me a good visual of what that estrangement could become like. God sure knows how to speak to us by any means necessary!! |

Hello, I haven''t read your book yet, but after reading the excepts for chapter 1, I will get it today. I believe I already have it, but I have loaned out so many books that it is hard to remember to who. I will pick up your book today without a doubt. |

I really enjoyed reading this novel. It really tugged at all of my emotions and it also made me value the people who are in my life. Although we love God, he has the power to do all things and you neve know when he might call one of your loved ones home. I look forward to reading your next novel. |

The very first paragraph grabbed my interest. I can certainly relate to the statement, "women and rain don''t mix." I curled up on my couch and read the story of Serena Jasper’s life. I felt her anger as she discovered the truth about her father, and I felt her pain when her mother died. I felt hopeful every time she turned to the Almighty to strengthen her through her challenges. I have shared this book with friends and family. |
