Making Room for the Right Stuff

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

As we countdown to 2010, be sure you’ve made room to receive your New Year blessings. Forgive others – and yourself.

Forgiving doesn’t require you to restore unloving relationships or dwell where you aren’t valued; it calls you to release others (or yourself) from guilt or grudges and reserve that energy for the good things God has planned for your future.

When you let go, you’ll not only live, you’ll thrive! You’ll be able to recognize and receive authentic love, abundant grace and jaw-dropping experiences orchestrated by God, just for you.

Isaiah 58: 9-11: (NIV)
Then you will call, and the LORD will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: “Here am I.”

If you do away with the yoke of oppression,
with the pointing finger and malicious talk, and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry
and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday.

The LORD will guide you always;
he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land
and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

Preparing to Receive

Welcome to a new week! May today be the blessed start of your new beginning.

“You’ve got much more important things to do in this world than to carry (unforgiveness) or manage a list of offenses against others. When you leave old offenses behind because you want all God has for you, all of heaven opens up before you.” ~ Susie Larson
